Hi! It’s Julie. The girl with the green hair! I’ve been a copywriter for 17 years, a Creative Director for 7, and I’ve done a bit of everything, from PR and social-first content to “culture hacking” and cannabis. There was even a brief moment where I had a side hustle as a beauty influencer (and I was pretty successful at it!)
I’ve won awards for traditional and digital advertising as well as PR.
And the work I’ve done has made headlines worldwide.

But as a queer woman, what I really love doing is building teams and creating a space where everyone feels like they belong. And I have a proven track record.

• Lifelong Crush: Helped build the agency from the ground up, including hiring staff, building process (and rebuilding it) and leading the DEI committee. This resulted in Silver: Strategy Small AOY in 2024!

• The Kitchen: Launched this hybrid agency with Kraft Heinz Canada as a pilot, which went on to become a global phenomenon. I was the founding Creative Director!

• Proof Strategies (PR): Built the creative team from 3 to 15. One of the first CDs in PR!

• Colour: Led the Toronto office growth and new business initiatives, all while launching a Cannabis brand into the rec market.

  I am currently open to freelance gigs, or full-time if this vibe is right.
